Known for his daring interpretations, Japanese contemporary artist Madsaki has unveiled three new rugs. The designs features Rolex watches in the artist’s graffiti-inspired aesthetic.
Madsaki illustrates the GMT-Master II with its arrow-tipped hand and rotatable 24-hour gradual bezel in a half-blue, half-red colorway. Like other Madsaki works that critique mass culture, the watches are reinterpreted through thin lines and paint splatters in the artist’s raw style.
